Painted Daisy Shirts

Since I can't sew, I've been doing other creative things, mostly lots of cooking. Today I spent a while with some paints and some little girls' shirts, and ended up with these:

I mixed together some fabric medium and acrylic paints and went at it, freehand. It took a while, mostly waiting between colors so they wouldn't blend too much, but it was really easy. I started with the white petals, added the yellow center, and did the grey outlining on top afterward. Like I said, really easy. I do wish I'd put the flowers higher on the shirts, especially on the smaller shirt, but I still like how they came out. Once the paints were completely dry I ironed them to set the colors and put them on the girlies.
Booper was pretty happy to have a flower on her shirt.
And Gaiw was doing her happy-kicks, so I guess she liked hers too. =)

Thanks for stopping by,
