About Me

Hello! I'm Charity -welcome to my blog!

I am a 28-year-old seamstress who hates raw edges, loves complicated designs, is constantly working on perfecting fit, and creates most of my own patterns.

I'm a baker who loves chocolate and thinks dessert isn't worth eating if it's too healthy, a cook who far too often ends up heating up chicken nuggets for dinner, a crafter whose worst enemy is hot glue, the slowest crocheter and knitter in history, a photographer whose photos are never good enough, and a mother who loves her children but gets oh-so-exhausted by caring for them.

I like to figure out the best way to make things... the most efficient, with the most lasting finish, and the best fit or taste. Sometimes things don't go as planned, and I say 'grr'. =) SayGrrSewing is my ramblings about the most recent creation, usually a sewn item, and the frustrations that occurred while making it. SayGrrSewing is also a pun on my last name.

I currently live in hot, dry Arizona, but I love rain and cold. I wish I could create a controlled environment around my house where it rains regularly and is chilly. ;-)

I am married to a goofy guy whose name is Joshua.

I have four energetic, time-consuming, and adorable daughters, who I love beyond measure. They are E, whose nickname is Booper, and who is 8:

A, whose nickname is Gaiw, and who is 6:

R, whose nickname is Beckers, and who is 5:

and R, whose nickname is Foof, and who is 3:

I'm a Christian, and though I often fail I sincerely believe that I am saved by God's grace through faith. My beliefs align most closely with Oneness Pentecostals, but I don't currently attend church.

Take a look around, maybe you'll find something you like! If you have questions about a project, please, please, feel free to ask me. And don't forget, I love comments just as much as the next person! =)
